Zinc
A trace mineral essential for immune defence, wound healing, skin clarity, and reproductive health.
What It Is
Zinc is involved in more than 300 enzymatic and structural protein functions. It is particularly important for the development and activation of immune cells (T-lymphocytes, neutrophils), the synthesis of testosterone and other hormones, wound healing, and the structural integrity of skin and connective tissue. In fertility contexts, zinc is critical for sperm motility, sperm count, and oocyte (egg cell) maturation. Zinc deficiency is associated with impaired immunity, poor wound healing, skin disorders, and reduced fertility.
What It Does
- Strengthens immune cell activity and resistance to infection
- Supports sperm motility, count, and male reproductive health
- Promotes clear, structurally sound skin and accelerates wound healing
- Supports testosterone and hormonal balance
- Cofactor for over 300 enzymatic reactions across all body systems
Clinical Considerations
Well tolerated at therapeutic IV doses. Excessive zinc over time can interfere with copper absorption — doses are clinically calibrated per protocol. A standard clinical assessment applies.
